Perfect place for our stay. Quiet location (we slept really well), but close enough to the main drag in Vedado and easy to get to Plaza de la Revolución, Habana Vieja, Centro Habana, the university, the malecón, etc, either walking (might be a long walk for some people) or taxi. Anabel was extremely kind, kept the house impeccably clean, and made us impressive breakfasts with lots of fruit every morning. She answered questions we had about where to get certain things and how to get places, and helped us make a couple of phone calls. Communication with Farah was excellent before we arrived. I recommend having her arrange your airport taxi because it makes things easier and the prices are competitive with the taxis at the airport. Anabel called for a taxi to take us back to the airport, which was helpful.

Farah's place was an amazing place and the perfect way to start my trip in Cuba. She schedule my transportation from the airport which was prompt and safe. She had someone waiting for me when I arrived. I was given maps and directions about how to get around. Breakfast was amazing! Also, I needed a little bit of a later check out. She was totally accommodating. The location was perfect. Walking distance from restaurants and a lot of sight seeing! I strongly suggest staying here!

The casa is a well-maintained and grand house. We had a nice big bed, the biggest in all of the 6 casas we rented in Cuba. There are 3 rented rooms, and we did not expect to be sharing one bathroom between all the rooms, but it did not present a problem. The other international guests were very interesting and it was fun to share breakfast with them. The shower did not get warm, or have much volume, but we learned that that is inevitable in Havana. Although we expected to be living in a family home, the house is exclusively rented to guests, and the hired woman, Annabelle, who is lovely, was the only Cuban we met there. A very beautiful comfortable space.
